Console Table 2

1300 x 950 x 300mm, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel

This table features long tapered legs which are splayed out at an angle whcih gives it a very distinctive visual feature, as well as a wider base for support. This uses a combination of mild steel and stainless steel to give a slight colour contrast.

The table is constructed using blacksmithing techniques such as riveting, punching holes and drawing down a solid bar to create the tapers. This allows the material to be thinned while still retaining its strength.
