Console Table 1

1200 x 950 x 260mm, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel

This table was strongly influenced by Japanese Shinto Shrines and their construction. The way they're constructed provides a lot of strength to the structure. Combining this influence with traditional blacksmithing techniques informed the final outcome.
The addition of stainless steel bars not also give visual contrast to the dark steel but also function as a lower shelf.
